39539: Encoder: HIPERFACE: Status: Transmitter current critical (1Dh)

Info: Encoder
Data type: USINT

Description:
This status is reported by the HIPERFACEŽ encoder. More information can be found in the data sheet or HIPERFACEŽ encoder specification.
Excerpt from the HIPERFACEŽ specification:
"Transmitter current critical" indicates that the HIPERFACEŽ slave has detected an error condition with the sensor LED.
Potential reasons for this fault include end of LED service life, various hardware faults in the optical pickup system or defects of the code disc.
For optical encoders, this condition will be checked prior to every slave response message.
If this condition is detected, the position output will not be locked.
NOTE: Some legacy HIPERFACEŽ slaves transmit this condition with the warning bit.

Reaction:
None

Cause/Remedy:
See encoder data sheet or HIPERFACEŽ specification.
