Description:

Excerpt from the HIPERFACE DSLŪ specification for encoder status 3 (ENC_ST3, Adresse 43h) bit 1:
Only for capacitive encoders:
Rotor position out of specified tolerance.
Attention! A proper and correct mounting of the encoder has to be ensured, otherwise proper functionality can't be guaranteed!
Potential cause: mechanical shocks, improper encoder mounting
Reaction:
See error number 7030.
Cause/Remedy:
See encoder data sheet or HIPERFACE DSLŪ specification.
Excerpt from the HIPERFACE DSLŪ specification:
The drive system must be placed in a safe condition, because with distorted signals no proper functionality can be guaranteed
Action: SW reset of the encoder.
Upon reset, the Rotor Position will be checked again.
If error bit is set, check application and encoder mounting.
If error persists even with correctly set Rotor Position, replacement of the encoder is required!
