1. Drive Not Recognized After Motor Replacement
After replacing the motor, the drive was not detected. The issue was traced to the use of an Endat 2.2 encoder. When the encoder’s communication initialization takes longer than 1000 ms, the Powerlink stack fails to start correctly, preventing the drive from being recognized.
- This issue has been resolved in Firmware V304.04.02.
- A field visit to Woojin is scheduled to install the firmware and verify whether the issue is resolved.
2. Drive Not Recognized After PLC Application Download
In a separate case, the drive was not recognized after downloading a new PLC application.
- This issue is currently being reproduced by KEBA Korea.
- Woojin engineers have attempted replication but have not succeeded so far.
- Further testing and debugging will be conducted after updating to Firmware V304.04.02.
