39515: Encoder: HIPERFACE: Status: Internal I˛C bus not operational (05h)

Info: Encoder
Data type: USINT

Description:
This status is reported by the HIPERFACEŽ encoder. More information can be found in the data sheet or HIPERFACEŽ encoder specification.
Excerpt from the HIPERFACEŽ specification:
"Internal I˛C bus not operational" indicates that the HIPERFACEŽ slave could not establish communication to its nonvolatile memory or detected a fault in the communication protocol to its nonvolatile memory.
Additionally, "Internal I˛C bus not operational" is used at startup if one of the following values stored in nonvolatile memory was corrupted:
- Encoder type code
Additionally, "Internal I˛C bus not operational" is used during operation if an "Internal checksum error" is detected at startup and the user tries to use commands that use nonvolatile memory of the HIPERFACEŽ slave (see error number 39516).
