🔊 1. Noise at Metering Motor – TE220A5 Case
During commissioning of the TE220A5 injection molding machine, noise was observed from the metering motor when the motor was turned ON.
🔍 Root Cause
- The motor uses a Resolver-type encoder.
- 그만큼 Speed Filter Time Constant was set too short (too reactive).
- As a result, the motor continuously performed micro speed adjustments even while stopped, trying to follow the reference position → causing audible noise.
✅ Resolution
- We changed the Speed Filter time constant to 2 ms.
- This significantly reduced the noise.
- The update was also applied to other motors using Resolver-type encoders in similar axes.

🧩 2. Encoder Offset Issue on Injection Axis – TE170A5_superform Case
그만큼 TE170A5_superform machine was designed as a foam injection model, and failed to perform encoder offset detection on the injection axis.
🔍 Root Cause
- The motor used on the injection axis was different from standard models – it included a brake.
- However, brake usage was not configured in the drive settings, causing issues during offset detection.
✅ Resolution
- The drive was reconfigured to recognize the brake presence.
- After that, encoder offset detection was successful.
