1. Purpose
To clearly guide service engineers on differences in program configurations by CPU type when using IMC400-based monitors, and to outline precautions when replacing or modifying CPUs.
2. IMC400 Monitor Configuration and Classification

3. Program Configuration by CPU
- IMC400 program structure differs depending on CPU board configuration.
- When a CPU is discontinued or replaced, the same program cannot be applied directly.
- The following three items are mandatory when requesting program modification:
- CPU card configuration (e.g., 4PP, 5PP, 2100)
- Program version and configuration details
- Machine model and applied options
→ If any of the above information is missing, program rebuild and download are not possible.
4. Dynamic Configuration Feature (PP2100 Only)
- PP2100 used in TH, VH, and TE models adopts a Dynamic Configuration structure.
- Optional cards (e.g., I/O, communication, temperature cards) can be selectively enabled via the monitor application.
- Service engineers must verify option settings before downloading or replacing programs.
- Due to Dynamic Configuration, separate programs for different machine configurations are not required.
5. Exception for DL Models
- IMC400 for DL models maintains a static configuration approach.
- Dynamic Configuration is not applied.
- When replacing programs, the existing CPU and hardware configuration must be kept identical.
