The Extended Buttons Panel is a physical control panel consisting of up to nine buttons and one spring-loaded rotary knob.
The buttons on the panel do not have a fixed function assignment. Instead, their current assignment is defined dynamically via the HMI. On the HMI, a selection bar is displayed behind the buttons, indicating which functions are currently mapped to the physical buttons.
Rotating the rotary knob allows the operator to:
- Change the active row, or
- Change the currently selected tab
When the active row or tab is changed, the function assignment of the buttons is updated accordingly.
